What's old is new
This is my place to show off the items I would call vintage, things I have either refinished or kept as is and find interesting. I am still a kid at heart bringing home what some might call junk and am always in search of that buried treasure. I am not a picker and I am not a hoarder, working with my hands on my own time repairing or refinishing the things I find brings me peace of mind and time to myself to contemplate whatever has transpired in my life or time to just zone out and concentrate on the task at hand. Some items for sale or possible trade just ask..click on my profile and send me an email.

Pairpoint Lamp
Pairpoint lamp needs some restoration and a shade, an original shade will be tough to find and costly so a reproduction may be substituted.
Side Tables
One nice retro veneered solid maple side table, the veneer was weather beaten in spots so I removed some then I painted black and tan, I really like the result. Two nice maple matching 1950's side table's that will be painted when a colour scheme for bedroom walls is chose and we can coordinate. Also the orange lamp was salvaged from a scrap yard, the chrome was rusted but cleaned up well with very little pitting after and the shade is new.

Singer Spartan-Slat table-Mid century chairs
Singer Spartan sewing machine this little machine is a work horse and is in fine condition, it has a light when most of them didn't. Two very retro chairs that will be recovered in the material(s) draped over the back. Small oak slat table that I dismantled stripped and refinished. Finally a very nice little Mission Style table that mom says was a gift to my great grandmother in 1912. Green fabric on green chair is out, I'm going with a burgundy and black velvet floral pattern instead. Wait and see the end result.

Waverley Novels
Found these books at the Goodwill, they represent only a small part of the Waverley Novels. I was told I may have a small fortune in my hands but haven't yet got around to having a professional look at them. I like the look of old leather bound books and the stories aren't bad.

Holt Howard juice pitcher set
Holt Howard juice pitcher and 5 small cups (c.1962).The juice pitcher and cups were part of a tray lot at auction, there was a cookie jar that my significant other wanted and this was extra that she didn't find appealing although orange is her favourite colour. I kept them for decorative use in the kitchen but will sell if interested.

Lane Step Side Tables-My first find
I love the style of these solid walnut tables, the fantastic grain looks like tiger stripes. These were made by Knechtel Furniture for Lane and were in really rough shape when I found them, the one on the left had a burn which is barely noticeable now and if you didn't now you might think it was natural. In these pictures the table on the left is before refinishing hence the still visible burn and the one on the right has been refinished. These pictures don't do them justice, they turned out awesome after refinshing....For the right offer I may part with them.
