What's old is new
This is my place to show off the items I would call vintage, things I have either refinished or kept as is and find interesting. I am still a kid at heart bringing home what some might call junk and am always in search of that buried treasure. I am not a picker and I am not a hoarder, working with my hands on my own time repairing or refinishing the things I find brings me peace of mind and time to myself to contemplate whatever has transpired in my life or time to just zone out and concentrate on the task at hand. Some items for sale or possible trade just ask..click on my profile and send me an email.

FAB Trays
"FAB" trays the fab stands for fabric, popular in the 1970's and earlier and shipped throughout north america they were made in Barrie, Ont until the oil crisis in the 70's made the oil based resin to expensive to continue making them, they are actual pieces of fabric sealed in the resin. Perfect for serving on the deck or back yard party they add plenty of colour to the décor

I am a collector as well. Thanks for sharing your pics. I am curious about the Canadian geese scene tray. Is there a product number on the back? And is this one for sale? I live in Burlington.
ReplyDeleteNorma I apologize I've been neglectful of my my blog this year. I'm just seeing your post now. The goose tray is my fav and that's the only one I'd like to keep for now (I've never seen another), it reminds of a "Group of Seven" painting which is why I like it...I'll take a look for that number and reply again soon
DeleteIf you ever decide to see the Canadian Geese Tray, I'd be interested in buying it.
