What's old is new

This is my place to show off the items I would call vintage, things I have either refinished or kept as is and find interesting. I am still a kid at heart bringing home what some might call junk and am always in search of that buried treasure. I am not a picker and I am not a hoarder, working with my hands on my own time repairing or refinishing the things I find brings me peace of mind and time to myself to contemplate whatever has transpired in my life or time to just zone out and concentrate on the task at hand. Some items for sale or possible trade just ask..click on my profile and send me an email.

Local One of Kind Tin Wall Art by Kerry Foster

Bought this at Value Village I assume it to be one of a kind art, each piece has a small unassuming sticker on the back saying "made by Kerry Foster Toronto" I'm not sure if it was an art project or someone trying to break onto the scene but who ever this person is they've made interesting pieces here. All three can be hung individually, one has the tin pieces bent concavely while the others both have flat lying tin. Sorry about the shotty pics I really have to find a space to photograph things.

  1. I like 'em! Good score. Yup, better pics would be great! I'd keep the two that are nearly the same and sell the single oddball.

    1. I thought it was a decent score. Value Village had a donation drop off promotion on Sunday that did well at all the locations I passed by. So that stuff is hitting the shelves this week and looks pretty promising. I know this little Nikon Coolpix isn't the greatest. I can't find a well enough lit place in the house so the flash won't whitewash everything, or a blank space so the focus of the pic is on the item and not the background. It's a work in progress.
